Cars were a soft, progressive, new wave group during the 1980s. They had a very experimental sound sometimes, but they also had some soft songs that made it big on the radio such as Good Times Roll and Tonight She Comes, which should probably be spelled with a “u” given the subject matter of the song. Eh hem! Oh, well, moving on…

Good Times Roll used to be one of my favorite songs in high school. It led me to listening to the Cars for a little while during my first year of college. I then moved on to other groups that I liked more, but I would still have to say that Cars do have some good songs like the ones I’ve already mentioned. The vocals are good and the guitar is nice, but it is a little too processed sounding for my tastes.
