During the final chapters of Joshua land is continued to be given away. Joshua started out quite exciting with all of the battles, but now that the battles are over and only land is being given away, it is not quite as interesting as it was at the beginning. Joshua dies at the very end of this book of the Bible. He is commemorated and buried with all of his wealth that he has accumulated during his conquest of Canaan. We will continue next week with another action packed book called Judges, only this time it will probably be even more interesting because the book will focus on individual judges, some of which were quite interesting, instead of just a large, somewhat faceless army.
