Some followers of Elisha were working when one of them accidentally dropped an ax head into the river. He was going to get into trouble because he had borrowed the axe from another person, but Elisha threw a stick into the river, which caused the axe head to float again. The interesting thing about this story is that it can not be explained by natural causes, and it could only be the work of God. The evil woman named Jezebel who was out to get Elijah and had some servants of God killed is also killed in this section of the Bible when she is thrown down from a balcony into the street where her body is eaten by dogs until there is nothing left but the skeleton to be buried. Some people come to attack Israel, but Elisha has them blinded by the army of God and led right into the middle of Samaria where the army surrendered, had a meal and then returned home.
